    Indeed

He's got to be credited for it.

Can he sign for anyone else and play this season or is he stumped as registered for the gers til the summer?

It could fall into the exceptional circumstances category but unlikely if it was a team in the same league. I would imagine a Prem club might be able to register him to play but not Celtic.

Surely he's a free agent if he's been released from his contract and so can sign for anyone? Only exception is if he's already played for two teams this season.

What about if you've played for one team, but with two contracts?

Then he'd most likely have to ask for special dispensation from Hector. <ok>

Only if they are exactly that - Released. If they have requested and cancelled the contract with the club's consent they can't sign for anyone until the transfer window opens...

Nice one Dev. I thought his crosses were very wild the time he played against Celtic.

Wylde has played a blinder here, or his agent has. Lined up two possible teams that might sign him, then he appears to fall on his sword for the good of the club and staff. Cracker. <applause>

<ok> Hope he doesn't come to Southampton though. How Username has described him, he seems average.

Well, we'll take him then but I doubt he'll come down to the south coast.
