Hi guys, Iâm in the internet cafe at Everest Base Camp I had an email from Tarquin saying that they had recently built a funicular railway up to the top of Everest and the views from the top are fantastic. He said on a clear day you can even see Australia. Trouble is, nobody here knows anything about a new railway. I guess he was just pulling my leg (as usual, haha). Anyway, tried to climb up to the top of Everest by myself but it was a bit of a failure. Steep and icy. Got gangreen in my left foot, had to chop it off with the ice-axe. Decided to abandon the attempt. Well, the monks gave me a nice send-off from the monastery. We had a bit of a do down at the Yak and Yeti - free ale, roast yeti - the works. Very bad head next morning, lol. Had a bit of trouble getting across the border into Nepal. The Chinese were going to arrest me for not having an exit visa, but just at that moment the border crossing was attacked by herd of vicious yetis. The border guards did a runner, so I legged it down the road and got a bus to Katmandu. Close shave!!! Just had a text in from Molly. She says someone called Loudrup is our new manager. Canât say Iâve heard of him - I would have gone for Warnock. She also says that I should go to Afghanistan and Syria on the way home. They sound like nice places to go. Donât worry guys, I will be back in time for the start of the new season Cheers, Mr_G
Nice to hear your well .On the way home,Afghanistan and Syria are lovely this time of year but be careful not to accidentally go to Kairduffstan

Sorry to hear about the foot Mr Gullible, thats bad news for Laudrup as I think he had you pencilled in to challenge Danny next season.
