Are you just trying to piss us all off with your lifestyle AWAYINBC? Golf, fishing, snow covered mountains...........

Will do our best to keep things ticking over in the closed season and keep you informed as requested. Heard rumours that Messi might be in town. Not this town but one can dream.

When we were over last we watched them film Doc Martin in Port Isaac, chatted to him and Aunty Joan..

The point i'm getting at is...where would you live if you won millions on the lottery....

I would consider Cornwall..my Wife being Canadian loves it here on the West Coast...might have a problem.

Where would you and your Wife live Mr. Sensible..would you have a problem?..

Simple answer to that one is just outside or on the outskirts of Plymouth AWAYINBC. My kids and grandchildren are here and there is no way I would consider living away from them. Pain in the backside sometimes but they put up with me. Seriously though I would not move away. If I pooled all my resources right now I could go live pretty much anywhere. Don't tell anyone else though but I love the grandkids and they keep me young and on my toes. I wouldn't miss them growing up. People take the area they live in too much for granted most of the time and never appreciate what they have. In and around this area is as beautiful as almost anywhere and I have spent 14 years in the Navy and travelled to many places so am not biased. Never got to Canada however.

Canada is a place I would love to visit for a holiday, however I'm not a fan of cold weather so I couldn't tolerate the severe winters there. If I could live anywhere in the world it would have to be somewhere not too far from the UK but somewhere where they actually have summers, I hate rain even more than I hate the cold, also there would have to be a lot of English speaking locals - this sounds more and more like Spain doesn't it?

There aren't many - if indeed any places in England better than Plymouth and I have lived in a few so I'm very happy to be back "home" now.

Sensible makes out the grandkids are a pain but he sounds like a fab grandad to me, great fun and very tolerant. Bet he spoils them rotton too!
