...but it goes out for a thrown-in!

No seriously, meant the other kind of green shoots... the ones that tell you something good's coming through!

But it's not the WIN, AWAY at THEIR place I'm talking about, nor even the cracking GOAL (from a CORNER) thumped in from 25 yards by SHAUN WRIGHT-PHILLIPS of all people! I'm not even talking about the CLEAN SHEET, not to mention the THREE friggin' POINTS or the fact you could hear the Rs FANS from Putney - or the solid performance by our DEFENCE for a change.

No, what I'm talking about is better than all of that stuff put together... WE PASSED THE ****in' BALL ABOUT. Quick, simple pass - and then moved (sometimes). Players playing as part of the team, resisting for once the temptation to go on some career-saving glory dribble into nowhere good. Sure, didn't make end product, nor really even threaten most of the time, 'cos tbh we ain't got a clue in the final third, but that's another story.

BUT, if we can keep playing with that kind of heart and cohesion, that kind of pinball effect, the belief will build and we might just nick a few games yet...

We'll see... still got me virtual brolly up though!

    Great post Brix. Totally agree.

To see us passing the ball around with such confidence was brilliant. Back to playing as a team again! Everyone was working hard, closing down, making the short and simple passes that was brilliant about our play.

Just need to adjust SWP's compass and we might just have cracked it...

Have to say that Granero does help us to pass the ball and retain possession. Maybe Harry can get him up for it.

Agree re Granero. MOTD highlights made him look important team player and unlucky with his shot.

    Go Harry!!

Those Green shoots are only worth anything if they dont die in our next game.....we were awful against Liverpool and brilliant at Chelsea......just hope we dont go back to awful again.
