A bit of grit, a bit of determination, a bit of luck, a moment or two of real genuine quality⦠there was almost an atmosphere inside Loftus Road at one point as well. Perhaps this taxing 2013/14 campaign will have a happy ending for Queens Park Rangers after all. A week ago at Sheffield Wednesday the Râs looked like a side happy to give up the ghost â meekly surrendering to a three goal defeat against a mediocre side after drowning in a sea of their own laziness and sense of perceived injustice. But Harry Redknapp and his players have responded with two hard fought victories on the spin to lift themselves back into third place. - See more at: http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/news/34546/?#sthash.5Bp5WU1b.dpuf
First class analysis by Mr Whittingham. He gets every call right in this piece including a season's best performance from RG, the mystery decision to play Dunne rather than Yun, Ravel Morrison's second half implosion and the slapstick comedy of our substitutions.
Another excellent report. I thought Zamora was definitely offside early on though, when a penalty would have resulted had he not been.
A good write up by Clive.... Have to say I enjoyed watching a very good stream on Tuesday night and it was so much better with no commentary, just the noise of the crowd that got louder and louder the longer the game went on....
Definitely this - I cranked up the speaker volume and soaked it all up, including all the stress. Where's Swords with his usual, "that geezer don't half go on about it"?
Interesting to read that as I didn't see the game. Shame Morrison was a sulk for the second half, we don't need that. Also, Clive confirmed what I've thought of Kranjcar all season...........very average!! I also agree that it was madness to bring the ever more tired looking Dunne back, when Yun had played so well in the previous game. Dunne needs a prolonged break imo.
Just asking, okay? But why hasn't Whittingham brought his more concise style from the match-day programme back to LFW? I thought after getting that gig it might have had an influence on his approach to these write ups. Doesn't look like it though
I don't know what it is but I always have a different opinion on Krancjar. I always think he is one of few players on the pitch who can suddenly make something out of nothing. I felt like he was having a good game and thought we missed him in the second half because the dynamic changed a lot. He is a good team player and is always trying to work something with one of his teammates. He also worked really hard and did some good running. I think people judge him harshly because they expect too much from him. But he's been good for us, in my opinion. At least, he hasn't been one of our worst. He's consistently been either good or decent. Anyway, I disagree with his rating of Hill. I think he made some awesome contributions.
