I wasn’t planning to watch the game - to be honest I’d forgotten it was happening. I put the TV on whilst the wife put the grandkids to bed and I have to say that was the best and most enjoyable England game I’ve seen for years.
Thoroughly entertaining - great enthusiasm and effort. Always trying to penetrate and high press to the last minute.
The 3-0 score line doesn’t do Greece credit - they made us work hard and we could never relax, but I’m really glad I watched the game.
I’ve not felt this satisfied after an England game since —— well, I can’t remember - possibly vs Germany when we won 5-1.
