My shout for an off the blocks post suggests an entertaining game with goals galore. Their front 3 have scored 25 so far. We can only dream of that. Fine place Exeter, nice ground, and we will come away worthy winners, and give a boost to our recent form. 4-3 Town. Staying 2nd.
Dont share your optimism Gaffer. Will be a high scoring game, but our defensive frailties will give them a 3-2 win. Burns & Edwards on the scoresheet
And my preferred team, if JD plays is Walton Donacien Wolfenden Burgess Davis Morsy Humphreys Burns Chaplin Edwards Ladapo
Another game on Sky, although hopefully the curse was broken after beating Derby. Definitely a recognition that we’re a high-performing, entertaining side (even if the opposition doesn’t usually play ball). I’m going for a 2-1 Town win, with the familiar signposts of an Ipswich Town performance this season. Plenty of possession, lovely attacking football, and the fitness/depth benefit of having five substitutes. But offset by frustrations over a silly goal being conceded, one or two lapses in concentration, and an inability to put away our chances.
Ffs, we are doomed....doomed i tell ya!! So sorry guys, forgot all about the match thread, i actually think i may be unbeaten this season. I was gonna say a 3-1victory but now.....3-2 defeat and it's all down to gaffer!!
I have a horrible feeling Wolfy is gonna feck up today Not overly pleased with Chaplin and Harness starting, would much rather Edwards but then he is a bit of an impact player!
We look sooooo slooooow, we should be destroying Exeter, they look bang average but i fear they will equalise unless we step it up
Burns looks a shadow of the player from last season, the front 3 are very poor imo, i know Ladapo scored but i just don't rate him. On the bright side, Morsy and the defence look solid atm!! I would deffo bring on Edwards, Cámara and Gas
Chaplin and Harkness get in each other’s way too much, time to play 1 or the other. Need a 2nd goal to calm my nerves. I also think Edwards deserves a run of games - ahead of Harkness or Burns
