Recently everyone even Chelsea fans including mr bean(yurilly) been saying Young's a cheat falling on the ground soo easily and every chance he gets but what about Drogba today?

    why ain't no one complaining?

oh i forgot he's not a Man Utd player, when Man utd player does it everyone starts screaming when when a different club player does it?

they say Young's a cheat so that means Drogba's a cheat too?

Wallcot done it against Wigan aswell, so he's a cheat aswell?

Drogba is a "cheat" but he helped beat the Arrogant sh*ts. Good luck to Chelski.

Drogba very wierdly dives all over the pitch. Very strange, for the most part forwards do it in or near the penalty area to create a goalscoring opportunity, he just dives everywhere. Regardless. That said, well done to Chelsea. Hope they win it. I'll be in Barca in two weeks and by then i hope the smug ****s are licking their wounds.

I actually think Drogba was very very smart tonight. By going to ground constantly he kept breaking up Barcas momentum, winding their players up, having play halted which also allowed the Chelsea players to get their breath back and rest for a few seconds. Not to mention the 2minutes added on in the first half was most likely Drogba time and Chelsea scored from it <laugh> . People talk about Di Matteos tactics it was a complete masterclass from Drogba <laugh> , fair play to him for doing what every barcelona player does all the time ( apart from the odd few )

On the case of Young though i think his being shown up more due to the fact he has dived for penalties which have been crucial in Man United winning games whereas Drogbas is just play acting, he hasn't actually dived for a penalty. Also over the years everyone expects it from Drogba and his also not English so the media couldn't give two ****s, whereas Young is english and the media are quick to highlight someone showing England up like young has and Walcott did when he dived vs Leeds

Clever play from Chelski. Broke up their rhythm. And very fast counter attacking and dangerous at set plays.

I think United should never again try to outplay Barcelona at football. You need a bit of luck too. If Barcelona had scored just 50% of their good chances we would have said that Chelsea have been humbled , with 75% domination and 5 times more passes. But we are talking now of clever tactics from Chelsea . Thin Line between triumph and disaster.

but the thing with Drogba is eveyr Defender knows about him, they get scared to put in a tackle on him when he's in the penalty box because they know if there is a small contact he will go down

Very true, Barca did outplay them ( saying that who don't Barca outplay lol ) and imo could have had 4 goals but at the end of the day Chelsea won 1-0. Will be 10 times harder for Chelsea next week than tonight but good luck to them and hope they can pull it off for England, i personally think whoever scores the next goal in the tie will go through, if Chelsea go 1-0 up Barca then need 3 and i reckon they might just be able to pull it off, whereas if Barca go 1-0 up i think it will just be normal service for them.
Will be very interesting nonetheless, tonight Chelsea done the right thing ( defend defend defend ) because they needed to stop Barca scoring, next week i think they need to go all out attack and just try to score as many as possible.

ffs, all this ****e about us playing dull football tonight - DUH! <doh>. It's Barcelona, our intentions worked and we beat them 1-0 with an away goal to play for.

Drogba may have been a fairy tonight but he was a clever one, set out for revenge on the shambles that was 2009 and succeeded.

When did i or anyone in this thread said you played dull football?.. you played great football, your tactics were spot on today.

Also what about that newcastle player said on twitter about young and he can't bear to watch players go down easily, did he say anything about Drogba? no because he's not a Man Utd player, im sure if he was Man Utd player, you would see everyone screaming.

that put me off, everyone was complaining about Young going down easily but they shut up when another player does it.

So if any other player goes down easily its ok and its not ok if a United player goes down?

you as well drogs, if i see you complaining about other player's going down easily, then i would laugh, you can't say nothing after what you seen of Drogba today

So your saying a Chelsea fan isn't allowed to moan at Ashley Young for diving after Drogbas antics but Wayne Rooney is allowed to moan at Drogba for his antics while he completely ignores his team-mates diving?
Just incase you didn't know Rooney wrote on his twitter tonight " Drogba. Your a great player but pls get up ". His never had a go at Young for diving to win penalties but he's quick to have a go at Drogba for his antics.
So in Rooneys eyes it's ok for a Man U player to dive to win penalties but it's not ok for Drogba to dive and play-act to help his team in wasting time and breaking up Barcas momentum?

I'm not defending Drogba,Rooney or Young, or Chelsea fans in this post but all i'm saying AV is you can't really say things like that when your own player is doing exactly what opposing fans are doing ( Labelling one player a diver but defending their own ) .

I really hope you boys do it, not only for England but for the fact i can't wait to see how Drogba reacts/celebrates when the full time whistle goes <laugh> . Ashley Cole was outstanding tonight, this season i've said i'd prefer Baines for the Euros but his last few performances have shown the real and old Ashley Cole

Absolutely, that's the one problem with watching Barcelona, they are a great team but they don't half cheat when they throw themselves to ground and roll a couple of hundered yards every time they feel the breath of an opposigition player close by. I wouldn't feel bad if we played Barca and some of our players started diving like mad, it's exactley what they do and have been getting away with for the last few years.

I did really like Barca a few years ago, but they are a win at all costs team and when that means diving like no other team in the world, they do it.

The other thing that annoys me is the way the media protray Barcelona and Messi, like the commentry last night when Messi scuffed a shot they're going on "so Messi does scuff his shots", yeah, he makes mistakes in every game and every game we commentate on they make stupid comments like "he's only human after all". He's the best player in the world, but he still makes plenty of mistakes every game, he just does a lot right too.

Chelsea were like Stoke at moments. Whatchya know, Messi did play against a "Stoke" like team on a rainy English night and he wasn't all that.

I watched the game hoping Barce would lose because I hate to watch their constant playacting, but Chelsea definitely won the battle of the dives last night, Drogba completely outdid Busquets and Ashely Cole definitely got the better of Alves.

I predicted a Chelsea win last night although I didn't expect them to have to defend for 89 minutes. I think Barca will tear them apart at the Nou Camp. Drogba's antics were shameful but effective, the ref for the second leg has been pre-warned and won't fall for them again (pardon the pun). Barca will be fired up and that massive pitch will have Chelsea chasing shadows. I don't expect Barca to win the CL though, the winner will come from the other semi-final.
