Great to win today - but who's commanding the team on the pitch?

Whilst Hill was vocal at set pieces, there was a real absence of communication today.

With Barton absent, the midfield were distinctly silent.

But I can kind of understand why:

    Carroll - too inexperienced
    Henry - lacking confidence
    Kranjcar - language barrier

That just leaves the two most experienced players:

O'Neill - has the experience, but quiet
Johnson - has the experience, but quiet

Only my opinion but i really don't rate Carroll, he is so light weight and gives the ball away too many times. He is not a ball winning midfielder and lacks creativity, with both he an Henry in the middle we are very weak. He needs to be shown how to protect the ball, he shouldn't be a regular first choice. And why the hell has he got the number 10 shirt, did Harry think he was getting Kane but Carroll turned up instead?
