Well fantastic result today, kept it tight, held out knowing one chance and we could nick it. Well we did, although I think Forest will feel robbed, hey ho.

Well did anyone notice how uninterested Robbie Koren looked today? his performance was perplexing to say the least one minute, stuck in and chasing down, the next he couldnt be arsed? Whats going on Robbie? you're better than that...

Crowd, and support, it seemed like all the singers were spread all over the place and what with the Forest fans above us, the sound was strange, no one could really start a chant and get the stand/singing in synch. The result was a odd pattern of changing singing/chants. I think 3500 could have done better, I was watching fans around us, some were supporting other were virtually mute for the game??? god knows why some people bother going to games...

Final observation, wasnt it great to watch Gerhard and Mannone throwing their shirts into the crowd. The players showed thier appreciation of the support, I just wish some people could really show thier support better.

Hope Gerrard and Mannone stay with us next season.

    Quick player assessment:

Mannone: Pulled his thigh, hope he's OK for Tuesday, but doubt it. Punched a few clearances and looked a bit loose at times.
Dawson: Given too much time can make elementary mistakes
Gerrard: 10 out of 10 Brilliant
Chester: Class, has touch and brains, Quality.
Rosenior: WHAT CAN YOU SAY, ACE, BRILLIANT, SUPERB
    Evans: Pearson Sign him up
Harper: Unfairly criticised, got ran about abit and was chasing a little too much, but agaoinst a good side like Forest you can forgive him.
Koren: Hot and COLD, Whats going on Robbie?
McLean: 100% effort well played sunshine.
    Simpson: Juries out
Fryatt: SupaMatt, great finish. ''Can I have some more?''

    Barmby: You amaze us!
Amoo: Lets see what you can do Amoo?
    Hobbs: Stayed the ship

    On to Tuesday, can't wait:D

Oh we walked out next to the lad who got Gerrards shirt and heard him ringing his Mum, boy was he pleased. We were pleased for him too!

To answer your point on why do people go to the games and not sing... I'd suggest it's to watch the game. Pure guess work on my part though.

    What?

No I didn't go, as I've said before I'm a student and getting back to Hull every week effectively doubles the price of every match I go to.

I don't get the point about ignore lists? I've no problem with being blocked by intolerant ****s who want to live in their own little dream world where everyone agrees with them and there's no bad people who have alternative opinions.

My player ratings would differ slightly:

Mannone: 7 - Agree with your comments, some good stuff, but there were punches when catches were in order.
Dawson: 7 - Steady, made a few errors, but not a bad performance.
    Gerrard: 9 - Excellent(MotM)
    Chester: 8 - Excellent
    Rosenior: 8 - Excellent(he almost never makes a mistake)
Evans: 8 - Followed last weeks improved performance with another one today, our best midfield player.
Harper: 5 Sorry, but he just doesn't have the quality, he was decent in patches but there was far too much flapping and stray passing.
Koren: 7 - I thought he looked very good in the first half, but faded badly in the second.
McLean: 6 - Worked hard, but his first touch was terrible and he just doesn't look good enough.
Simpson: 7 - Mixed bag again, looked good sometimes, a bit lazy others, he's a bit predictable, he controls the ball the same way every time.
Fryatt: 9 - Kept causing them problems, tracked back a fair bit and a great finish for the goal.

Barmby: 8 - Did what Barmby does, we look a different team every time he comes on.
Amoo: 7 - Jury still out, looked a bit too 'Junior Lewis' for my liking <laugh>
Hobbs: Not really on long enough to be rated.

I have to say i am not sure what you are on about with the crowd, i have to say i was at the other end to you and the Forest fans where not above me. We stood up all game(which people criticized about previously on here), also we where singing throughout, our corner where loud and proud and i think our support of the team today was pretty good!

Anyway back onto the game, we nicked three points again like we did against Derby, we are starting to take our one chance when we get in and Fryatt make's me proud that we finally have a true finisher at the club. Overall though i think we should be delighted with the three points, but we need to keep going we have Burnley next up i believe who will not roll over and we need to get another three points. I would like to see us go 4-5-1 or at least not three upfront as it didn't work but when we changed system we played far ebtter and looked a different class.

I thought we had the best possession of the ball today, Mannone had very little to do.

Aye i was shocked by how bad the flare smelt down our end, how on earth do they get away with that smell abroad?

Either way it buzzing down our end, think i was in Z1 to, either way lets hope we can take a lot of fans to Coventry. I highly doubt that we will take anywhere near as many as we have done previously though.

It's nothing to do with being boring, setting flares off in a crowded area is just a ****ing moronic thing to do.
