Fantastic article, particularly liked this bit:

"The first major problem with that argument, Mr Samuel, is that Kevin Nolan was not our best midfielder last season: there were in fact two players ahead of him in the running in the shape of Joey Barton and more markedly Cheik Tiote. There will be an argument that Nolan’s goals were the most important defining factor, but not all were scored from a midfield position, and when he was employed deeper as part of a 442 formation, the captain let most of the game pass him by. Perhaps that is why he took the decision to drop down a division, rather than because he sees more potential at West Ham, as Samuel seems to believe."

If Newcastle is such a small club, why does he spend half of his life talking about us?

In Samuel's article he says Hamburg are bigger than Schalke 04, but am I the only one hat thinks they aren't?

He's a fat, old & overpaid get just looking for a nibble.
The only response we should do is ban the ****er from Greggs and we'd sharp see him change his tune about Newcastle & Geordies as a whole!

Have you ever seen him on that 'Hold the back page' show on Sky .. even the boy from The Sun has no time for him .. and Brian Woolnough looks him up and down like he's got 2 heads (which he almost has to be fair - although one looks to have eaten the other) .. shame that we have to be dragged into responding to to his schoolboy english exam paper style articles though ..

His argument is nonsense (surprisingly). Schalke's list of honours stretches longer and further back than Hamburg's.

Because this particular fat journalist and his similarly aged cronies remember Hamburg being powerful in their own youth (the early 80's), he seems to think that epitomises an entire history.

It's a typical narrow-minded statement. One of many from a useless, loud mouthed (albeit award winning) journalist.

Brilliant response to an utterly dire waste of an article. Samuel is again showing everyone how much of a fat waste of blood and organs he really is, he's been completely crushed by a pretty much unknown blogger. The sad thing is, regardless of which club you support, the response to Samuel's article is far more newsworthy and thought provoking than anything Samuel has ever shat out of his mouth or scribbled and typed with his ****ing fat, hairy sausage fingers.

Sick of these short sigthed, cockney journalists professing that we've sold our best player! The most influential maybe, but he wasn't even in our top 5 in terms of ability!
