It really is, but at least we'll see him again.

It's because when he returned on Saturday they couldnt believe how fit he was.

Just because he's fit shouldn't mean he gets shoved into a cup game against Forest so early. I'd leave it a little longer to be on the safe side, especially after how long he's been out.

Premature as it is, who would you play against Forest.

    I would go
    Krul
    Raylor-Collo-Kadar-Santon
Obertan(only if Marv gets to play against QPR, which I want to happen)-Gosling(to see what he can do after hsi first unimpressive go out-Cabaye-Moyo(want to see him get a go)
    Arfa

    Mine would be :

    Eiliot
    Perch* Colo Kadar Santon/Raylor
    Marvo Gosling Guthrie Ferguson
    Vuckic
    Ba/Best

*To put him in the shop window and therefore Forest can take him back. <whistle>

<diva> i wouldn't mind seeing him come on for 10 minutes or so just as a cameo...there's no point rushing him back, especially not against the teams that can't tackle (i'm looking at you Blackburn especially Salgado!)

  18. Pardew is bringing him back because he knows the fans want to see him, instead we should stop trying to rush him straight back, and think about the season so far. We can win without him, we've got 7 out of 9 points and 3 wins out of 4 so far. Why risk bringing him back early?

Ben Arfa i reckon will give us something to roar and cheer about, i reckon he'll score a quite a few crackers and set up some goals, but we need to ease him in slowly.

His first game back vs Darlington, his passing and shooting were good, but his match sharpness was quite a bit off. He wasn't skinning as many people as he used to, which is understandable, but i reckon he'll take some time.

I personally think he should only play 20 mins of the Notts Forest match, then see how he is. After that, he should make 4-5 short appearances, to get him in the swing again before we actually start him.

We should keep him away from games like Wolves because they'll just hack him first chance they get.
