Just got in from work, put SSN on and I see breaking news: Anderlecht have announced that an agreement has been reached with Liverpool to bring in Milan Jovanovic.

Been waiting for news like this for a while now, does this mean we are one step closer to being able to bring in a new signing? Your thoughts.

F***ing great news! Still waiting on Poulsen, Ngog, and many more!

I hope it brings in a signing but we shall see who and what positions we go for.

That's off the Liverpool website. He's gone.

Good luck to the lad. It just didn't work for him.

I wish him well. Once again, a player's inability to fit into the Liverpool team is twisted into the notion that the bloke couldn't even play football, and it was an abomination in the eyes of god that he even existed. I remember that he had a good engine and made some positive runs forward. Now he may have been a bit of a headless chicken, but he had a good heart, and I wish him well in the future, and thank him for trying.

Some of you may think he was somehow the spawn of Satan, but I can't see any evidence to support that.

I'm not one for slagging players off, but I did at one point think he was going to stay purely to sweat it out in the reserves on the money he was on. Good luck to the lad.

I feel sorry for him in that he's endured 3 different managers and not got an opportunity under any of them, but I think it's obvious it just wasn't to be and he's made a nice bit of money from it.

    EDIT: 2000th post!!! <party>

good luck to Jova, when we signed him, I looked at his scoring record in Belguim and thought we'd got a decent player, he just didn't fit

Like I said in another thread it just leaves us with Poulsen and Joe Cole now (Possibly N'gog and Soto too?)

By the way if anyone wants me to warm any benches whilst I 'endure' the 'painstaking' process of watching my bank balance increase by over £60,000 a week I'd be happy to oblige.

He was going to be one of the hardest to shift - big wage packet and getting on in years - well done to all concerned
