Who's the guy underneath you Baldy?

Oh hang on, it's Pards with a more natural smile.

    As we all did.

Oops, choking on my coffee here.

It's a great feeling after an away win though.

I got it Jim but then I get that Pards is a tactical wizard so its not surprising. I think we need to capitilise on this feel good factor now and launch the "Pardew appreciation society" season tickets. We must do it before we get two or three injuries. If Mike has taught me anything about business, its strike while irons hot. In this instance Pardew is the iron, we are the blacksmiths, and the inevitable injuries are the cooling of our great leaders powers of wizardry.

    Injuries....pah!!

With Pardew appointing that nice new lady fitness guru and the team qualifying for free passes into Lourdes, courtesy of our French contingent, I think injuries are a thing of the past. In fact I'll be suprised if we don't field yesterday's side for every game this season.

Unlike Keegan I can't see St Alan blowing a 12 point lead at the top.

Remember the joy when he scored the winner against Bolton on Good Friday 1965 to make it 2-1 which got us promoted to the first division, big John McGrath kicked Wyn Davies up in the air which effectively put him out of the rest of the match....<laugh>

Tommy Smith in his book "Hard Men" said McGrath used to threaten people in the tunnel waiting to go out. <laugh>

McGrath was hard but I always felt McNamee was just as hard but just a little bit more mental.

    In a nice way tho'

I seem to remember a story in Spain a few years back where one of the teams' substitutes went down the tunnel pulling down the shorts of the opposition players. I think that would unnerve me a tad more...

    I love it being nostalgic.
Out with mates I haven't seen for a while this afternoon and we talking relevant merits of players from years gone by.

The question we couldn't answer seriously is whether Steven Taylor is better than Glenn Keeley.
Surely Saylor is better than that?
