This years red away kit is great for its symbol and what it represents. I'm interested to hear what peoples thoughts on it are? Additionally, what kits down the years have got the terraces talking about how great it was, or alternatively, how bad it was? Has there been a year were most Swans were all saying "Ouch!"? The Matchwinner efforts in the early 90's stick out for me.
M& P cycles Aghh , Orange coloured Gulf kit a minor aghh , ,Evening Post purple stripey thing aghh , thinking about the recent kits have improved but I suppose the kits earlier reflected the current fashions/colours
Is this the one you mean? http://www.vintagefootballshirts.com/product-info.php?1996_97_Swansea_City_Away_Shirt_-pid5865.html
I love the red kit - it's stunning. Worst was the orange / blue gulf oil away kit. Proper mingin' I wasn't fussed on the home kits in that era either - too much red. I like our home kits to be white with some black trim. This years gold is beautiful but wouldn't want gold every year.
Yes , went away that year with a trip to Holland with the junior section of my local football team (happy memories) ,still got the shirt but it won't fit now
