Morrison nursing a minor thigh problem 06/03/2014 By Matt Barrett Ravel Morrison is nursing a slight thigh problem ahead of QPRâs game against Birmingham City. Morrison, on loan at Rangers from West Ham, endured a frustrating evening playing for England Under-21s against Wales on Wednesday. He struggled to make an impact in the game at Derbyâs Pride Park and was substituted midway through the second half. The midfielder looked disgruntled at the decision to take him off but it was made partly because of a minor injury that Rangers are hopeful will not prevent Morrison featuring at St Andrews, where he had a spell on loan last season. âHe lives for football and was disappointed probably not to get into the game as he would have liked,â explained England Under-21 boss Gareth Southgate. âHe had a tightness in his thigh, so we were never going to play him for more than 60-65 minutes. I had a chat with him afterwards and he was fine [about being substituted].â Rangers are also hoping that Niko Kranjcar and Gary OâNeil shake off injuries before Saturdayâs match, while Armand Traore believes he can recover from a back problem in time. http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/ravel-morrison-nursing-thigh-problem-ahead-birmingham-city-game-wls-football is there something really wrong in the physio/fitness training department at qpr. What has he been here, 2 weeks and he's already nursing a slight thigh problem. Another 2 weeks and he'll be out for the season? It really can't be all bad luck anymore with all the injuries we've had this season.
However playing someone with an injury is, perhaps this is a reason why all the players get injured. They play through it making it worse.
