Great feature in the Independent by James Lawton about SAF. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...s-rivals-left-frozen-in-his-wake-2264811.html He writes: 1 way ticket to Narnia please.
Once again, United prove that the team is more important than the sum of its parts The PL is close enough to taste now - we'd have to lose to both Arsenal and Chelsea to throw it away, and even then there's no guarantee Arsenal would pick up maximum points from their other games. The FA Cup is largely dependent on how well we cope without Rooney in the semi against Citeh. And also, it has to be said, whether Mancini can overcome his negative instincts and set City up like he did against Sunderland, rather than their usual defensive effort. The Champions League is impossible to call - if we get past Chelsea we should (should!) be able to overcome Schalke and then it's one game, winner takes all. Would be great if we faced Barcelona, got an early goal and then they wilted like we did in 2009. But it's gonna take the performance of a lifetime to get past whichever of the Spanish pair we would face if we reach the final. Whatever happens, it's gonna be a thrilling climax to the season! Think I'll get me one of those Narnia tickets too...
