    Although Mane has had a very good month, for me this was a fairly comfortable Pelle win. I wasn't in any doubt that Pelle was my pick.

    The number of misses he'd committed was once put to the great Mick Channon. Quick as a flash, Mick replied in that wonderful burr of his "You have to miss 'em to score 'em. I got a terrible 'abit of scoring 20 goals a season."

    If Graziano stops getting into scoring positions I'll worry

    Absolutely. He hit the post more times last season than any other striker. If half of those had deflected in instead of bouncing out or away, Pelle would have been on 21 for the season. Not bad at all.

    And it might seem ridiculous, but hitting the post is considered off-target. Well, that is unless it deflects in. :)

    When our players shots deflect in off the post it is taken away from them by the dubious goals committee and put down as an own goal by Mr A Post.

    Tough that Tadic had his taken away...may have deflected off an opposition player, but it was produced by a good shot on goal. Can't treat that the same as when a ball changes direction by 45 deg.
