No one quite knows what goes through that scattered mind when it comes to team selection, but it seems that he used the excuse of Kisnorbo's suspension in order to drop him.

I thought Bromby did okay against Man Utd but it's not as though he played a blinder so Grayson couldn't possibly drop him.

If he thinks Bromby is better than Kisnorbo, or Kisnorbo needed to be dropped, why wasn't he playing ahead of him before?

We all know O'Dea is awful, yet, because he's the most recent signing, he won't be dropped.

Bromby was at the bottom of the pecking order at the start of last season, and he'd been at the club longer than the other centre halves. All the centre halves were dropped before Collins, as he was the most recent signing, even though he was the worst player.

History is repeating itself this season, with O'Dea being Collins, Kisnorbo being Naylor, and Bruce and Bromby switching roles.

I wonder if Grayson will blame Lonergan for our poor defence and sell him at the end of the season.

Maybe Bromby plays like he did last night in training, but if that's the case then why did he start?

You can't just throw it back, boab. ;)

Some people who have called me all the names under the sun for wanting Grayson out, now want Grayson out.

I guess you're not one of them. :)

You're saying that my comments on Grayson are ridiculous, even though they aren't, just because I said your comments on Wenger and Kilkenny were ridiculous.

But your comments are ridiculous and I will continue to say so, if and when it is required. Just as you may use that term to describe my own comments, if you don't like it, don't give it out and move on.

Grayson was so angry in his post match interview but held back. He said he had tried different pairings, training techniques and everything to address the defensive frailties, but made it clear some individuals need to have a long look at themselves.Going forward we look great and were awesome in the first half.

I know the point you're trying to make Clive, but the managers position is a poisned Chalice with Ken Bates in Charge. If he went, could you see a top class manager working with Bates and getting along hunky-dorey? Grayson has made some poor selection choices and the calibre of centre halfs seems to have gone down, but the manager is always the fall guy.

look at O'Driscol and Donny. Did Dean Saunders wave a magic wand or did the players just book thier ideas up for the new gaffer?

Been thinking about this, and I can't help but think that O'Leary would happily come back to Leeds as manager. He's out of work and needs the job to try and kick start his football management career. Now, I'm not saying I want this to happen, just think he's one who would take the job, even with Bates in charge.

Of course, it's the weekend. A cheeky wee Chilean bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. Still even at this early stage of drunkenness, I reckon O'Dreary would take the job.

He'll be getting the telephone calls asking when he's going to pay his outstanding bills, the next stage is the knock on the door from the heavies!

O'Leary has already publicly stated that he'd love to take another crack at the Leeds job. Was a few years ago. If you want a source, this should suffice.
