Saturday being our final home match, wouldn't it be right and proper to give Cotterill a rousing summer send off for the enormous job he has already accomplished in keeping our noses out of Div 2

With him in charge, I do feel for the first time since GJ that we have a manager that can take us back to better days.

Of course, you are only as good as the season you are performing in, but I don't get the feeling that Cotterill is going to take it easy this summer, like one or two in our recent past have done.
Wonder if he is going to scout in Brazil ? :afro:

Cotterill, despite sounding like the village idiot, has done a fine job. He was given a mission, he accepted and he has delivered with plenty to spare. I was not thrilled by his appointment but I find it hard to believe that anyone else could have bettered the job he has done.

Now the real work begins. This season he was essentially on a no lose situation. Get relegated and most of the blame would be at SOD's door. Stay up and be a hero. Next season the expectations will be different and anything less than the playoffs will be seen as failure by many of our fans. Can Steve handle that type of pressure? I certainly hope so.

Good job Fella - enjoy the recognition. It's been earned.

taking us to the top of the League 1 performance league over the last 10 matches. Putting us within 4 points of 8th place when he took over with us in the relegation zone. I don't think Alex Ferguson could have done any better.

I agree with BRR - this man has made the last 4 months bearable. And he made todays game at Stevenage into a party atmosphere.
