Good news for old ****s like me who remember when music was good, and Rock n Roll still meant saying "**** you" to the man; Martin Scorsese is to produce a documentary film about the Grateful Dead. Directed by Amir Bar-Levy (no, me neither), containing unseen concert footage, interviews, historical news footage etc, charting the history of the band from their conception in the Frisco Bay area during the acid drenched early sixties, til the death of Jerry Garcia in 1995. Now, where can I get some decent acid? Oh ****, you can't any more. Even the drugs are crap nowadays. Get that truckin on.
Norma Watterson does a great version of Black Muddy Water. I used to have it on CD but lost it and now cannot find it anywhere.
How good is 'Terrapin Station'? Not very is my assessment of it having received it as a present by a devotee. I told them it was great because I have manners. My question is, is their material better or worse than the standard of that album?
You can find Tranny gifs in seconds but not this ST? http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/artists/ffe1207b-e6ea-40d3-a16b-20de2c012216
Best studio album, imo; Working Man's Dead Best song; ****ing loads really. Most famous is probably Trucking, from the American Beauty album.
