Just finished listening to Friday sport on Radio Norfolk where GH's agent was interviewed 'live'. He said that all Holt wanted was an extra year on his contract but McNally said 'he was too old'. What do you make of that ? I reckon he must have also asked for more money. I have to say, IF and I repeat IF, McNally did say that, that was a tad disrespectful. Thoughts ? OTBC
I find it hard to believe, but he did come right out and say it. Now IF that was a lie I think McNasty would put his 'sueing' hat on. We'll have to wait and see
Holts going to follow Lambert his part of the Celt's master plan it's been on the cards since the end of the season. McNally is our ally his one of us remember that his not one of these weasels trying to destroy our club and kick us when we're down. His fighting our corner support him.
I hardly think that's true, McNally seems like the only person we can trust at the moment. If it is true, however, he's an idiot.
I heard his interview before when holt handed in his transfer request initially, there is no way i trust the guy
His a parasite exactly what is wrong with the modern game. These people encourage players to act like Diva's throwing their toys out the pram, all his doing is covering his tracks making Holt look like a victim, the spineless little weasel.
I'd of thought any contract extension would be under advice from the manager, I doubt McNally would say "no" if Lambert said "yes"
For what it's worth I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if Mcnasty did tell him he is too old. Most strikers don't get massive multi-year contracts when they get beyond 30. It's a big risk as the fear of losing that tiny bit of sharpness puts clubs off making a longer term committment. You can certainly see that Holt's agent is in complete disarray in all this, mainly because he sounds like he is in complete awe of McGnarly and hasn't the slightest clue how to negotiate with him so is resorting to extreme ways of getting his way - but failing miserably!
