    Wigan appear to be making some 'shrewd' signings and if they 'gel' must be one of the favorites ...

    I agree with Proud that he is too similar a player to Chris Wood (and Futacs for that matter) for us to have gone for him ...

    We well know that it is hard to gel even the best players, make too many new signings and it will cause them to lose points.

    Wigan have really taken the opposite route to us, investing in experience, mainly Prem experience too. Where we looked a bit wet behind the ears on occasion last season, they're aging signings may find the Championship tougher than they expect. It will be interesting to compare the fortunes of the two clubs next season.

    I think the fact our fans are split over losing him shows he can probably still do it in the championship. He may not have scored many last season, but I think that has more to do with woeful midfield play, as we created so few chances. I believe the big man had a higher conversion rate than Aguero.

    No one is saying he isnt good enough for us. He is too similar to Chris Wood for there to be any point of us signing him. We need someone who can offer something different
