He would have been good to have had in form on Saturday, but then so would Ale!

If as indicated by Harry Zamora starts with Remy up front, will Granero actually make the team? We would not be as solid and compact if Zamora and Granero are accomodated.

If ball retention is part of the plan I can see Granero getting games.

    Zamora ..... Remy
    .......Taarbat.....
    ..Granero.....M'Bia
    ..........M'Villa

Presumably you mean on paper he is a quality player. Since his arrival at LR we have seen flashes of brilliance but most of his performances have been ineffectual and he has been way off the pace of the PL. What 'Real' (sic) evidence is there that he is a top class midfielder?

Hard to imagine that Harry would go with such a radical departure from the current set up.

Aye, maybe a little too much change. But maybe worth trying out in the game this Sat?

In for Derry, we have no need for him against MK.

See where you're coming from aaaagh. But I've seen enough from him in a Ranger's shirt to know he is quality. Looked very good away against the good teams (City, Spurs and Chelsea), not bad against WBA away too. The quality is definitely there, only thing lacking is consistency. He's not a holding/defensive midfielder, played in a more attacking midfield role is where he's looked good imo. Trouble is he is looking good away from home and not so much at HQ, I think that comes from where in the field he looses possesion. Away from it's higher up the field making us able to correct it, at home when he gets disposessed we look more vulnerable.
