So last years 3rd place Teaforthree is the early favourite. Last years winner Auroras Encore isnt racing as the ground is too soft apparently

So, last years winner was 66-1. Neptune Collonges 2012's winner was 33-1

    It really is anyones race

    Last years race

I fancy Prince De Beauchene (I know its a bit French but even so). Ruby Walsh was going to ride this one until he got smashed up at Cheltenham.

Anyone having a go? Next year I actually want to get to this race

    The race is four-miles, three-furlongs and a 110-yards! <yikes>

LETS HOPE THEY ALL GET ROUND SAFELY

For me its the amount that run in it

They aren't top graded horses (obv very good ones) but not as good class horses that would run in the Gold Cup for instance but the sheer number of them, the high fences and length of the course make it such a challenge

The jockeys are very brave as well, **** coming off at the front of that pack with 39 horses to still come over the fence

If that makes me one so be it, just falling off anyway is bad enough with the high fences but with the rest still to jump??? Foooooooook that!

Can't say I'd fancy it either. Although, I'd rather do that than have the electro-needles in my arm (or anywhere) again #worsererinjury

Well if I was a horse with my injury I'd be used as glue now

    Love the Shakalakaboomboom name

Lat year, the Mrs (am married) niece chose a horse by dropping her toy on the open newspaper, its the one that won <doh>

Pissed all over mine so had to pretend to be pleased for her <doh>

  15. What happened to the horse mentioned in the pub thread? Or was that one of the other races?

  16. Me and the mrs (not married) had five horse each last year. She picked the winner but I talked her out of it because the odds were ridiculous <doh>

  19. I tend to mix it up. Two short odds, two medium and a punt

Tend to go for 1 fav, 1 mid and 1 outside bet.

Won a few years ago when AP McCoy won it.
