I see Chase The Spud is there at 66/1 so surely a punt for @The Ginger Finger Children’s List at 100/1 for @CBD saffy Who are you backing?
I usually spend £60 and do a £10 combination f/c for the National. Might have a cheeky £20 e/w on Seeyouatmidnight as well this year. Seeyouatmidnight Captain Redbeard Blaklion
I've got a bit of winnings knocking about from the Masters golf. Blacklion I think looks a winner, Lord Windermere a decent plodder as an outside bet. Total Recall another that potential will complete the course. **** knows though really!
Bet365 do a brilliant offer for this (as long as you had an account with them before yesterday). Bet up to £250 on each way bets and get half your money back straight away. I've done it the last few years and done 10 horses a tenner e/w and the horse I fancy 25 e/w. Get 125 back into my balance as soon as I hit bet and can withdraw it. With the prices of the national you only really need one to come in the top 6 and you have basically your money back. I've done it the last few years and think the most I've lost is £20 and one year I had first, second, fourth and fifth and was about a grand up. You'd have to be pretty unlucky to not get at least one in top 6 when backing 11/40 horses I think.
Tend to do 4 for different reasons ... current thinking Anibale Fly The Dutchman Milansbar Shantou Flyer ... all each way
Am I missing something or are you just blatantly implying I'm a nonce? (Not Of Normal Criminal Element) (Thanks, @Skylarker )
I got 9/1 at the counter and 66 for the donkey only spent £8 . £3 each way on tiger roll and £1 e/w on delusions of grandeur
