Nothing wrong with using the English language correctly... It's the split infinitives that really get me...
The BBC seems to have given up on grammar. Things like can and may or due to and owing to don't much matter, but the simple rule of countable and uncountable nouns often seems to escape presenters. It just sounds plain wrong to say 'he scored less goals' rather than 'he scored fewer goals'. There's also the one that occurs very often on here: He could of scored more goals instead of he could have scored more goals.
My favourite on here are the homonyms 'bare' and 'bear' so many seem to have 'naked' minds ! "baring in mind" when it should be "bearing in mind"
