Old rivalries never die they say, this certainly hasn't. No love lost for sure, wonder if Neil will counter this in his own column? In short he says that a FA charge should come Neil's way, slating his signings and that we're heading for relegation. Read for yourself: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2081042/Robin-van-Persie-versus-Neil-Warnock--Graham-Poll.html? Never liked that incompetent referee when he was active, can't say i care much for his writing either.
Neil deserves a slap on the wrist for those undignified comments, but not from Poll who has a fame fixation and feud with Warnock that goes back to the dinosaurs....which is what they both are.
Didn't say he was wrong, unfortunately as you say he's close to the truth and Neil's constant diverting of attention from poor performances are getting old truth be told. But coming from him, hardly an impartial pundit, leaves a sour taste.
The ego has landed! Despite describing himself as a QPR fan, Graham Poll was always a right muppet and is more interested in making a name for himself than anything else. His intervention is less than helpful to say the least. Having said that I must say that I found Neil's post-match comments about Van Persie pretty embarrassing, especially when contrasted to Harry Rednap's generous words about Swansea. It just came across as sour grapes.
