Blue and white blinkers off, which represents better business?

Whereas I am a big fan of Danny Graham's and was desperately disappointed that we didn't sign him, the additions of Bothroyd and Campbell together to hanging on to Taarabt has more than compensated in my view.

Your right Northolt, the cost of the deals to each club is very significant aswell.

I'm gutted Graham opted for the Swans because I think his off the ball movement is superb.
But to answer the question I would say Bothroyd and Campbell represent better value and business.
Ultimately I believe the new QPR additions will deliver more premier league goals.

Wages would also need to be added to form a true view.

I doubt Swansea are paying less wages than us, the point was, it looks like good business!

Interesting thread question Ciarrai. Tended to rate Bothroyd and Graham pretty much the same last season altho' different styles. Campbell has a far better recent record than Lita imo.

Costs in terms of transfer fees speaks for itself, QPR come out on top there by a mile.

... And the fact that both Bothroyd and Campbell both have history and an affinity with Rangers (Campbell a lifelong supporter) makes their signings all the better business imo. COYRs!

Agree with Brix. Lita's form in unpredictable - may work out for the Swans if all the conditions are right, but I'd take any of the other three over him.

Lita would need to improve 200% over the performances we have seen in the last couple of seasons to even participate in this debate. Perhaps he will, more likely he will remain on a downward trend. So Bothroyd without question for me.

I'm not confident that DJ will cut the mustard for us however unless NW has a Damascean change of tactics. Graham would have filled the 'sniffer' gap very nicely in our set up and given the relatively small fees involved it is a travesty he has gone to a rival.

Probably worth tagging this on the swans board also to get a rounded opinion.

Im no expert on any of them, but my perception is that swansea have more in the tank in midfield than QPR - so probably more reliant on linkup play, pass and move, team orientated goals - with a wider distribution of scorers. Players like Scor Sinclair, Dyer, Routledge should chip in with a fair few goals themselves, plus Dobbie sitting deep.

So as a front two - I would say QPR frontmen have the edge in experience, and are slightly more proven. Swans front two have possibly a little more potential, but less prem experience. I think for swans though it comes down to the midfield playing a more pivotal role.

    Interesting season ahead!

    Is this tag team wrestling?

If so, then it's Bothroyd and Campbell every time. (Unless it's fixed, like in the 70's.)

Did well to win his England cap not doing much, and didn't he score 20 or something goals.
I think you could be front runner for the idiot of the day award!

Easy. Bothroyd = better than Graham (ask Fabio Cappello), DJ Campbell = better than Lita (ask anyone but a Swans fan).

Both Graham and Lita are decent players at Champ level, but I'd rather have our front two thanks.

......And the Swans fan who says they edge it in midfield??????? Taarabt, Faurlin + Dyer?? We're miles ahead of you there pal. ;)
