Now that it is official, it is surely time for what I believe is the vast majority of our fans who are prepared to give him a chance, to drown out the minority who are not, who I'm sure will try and get on his back at every opportunity..
Weather we like it or not must give him a chance MON has faith in him he is on san saying he wanted to come after talking to MON
Have to give him a chance, no point getting on the lads back. Let him try and prove his worth, not what we want but he is here now, so lets get behind him.
Nice to hear in his comments on SAFC.com that he recognises the 'roots' issue and has pledged to do his all for the club. If he can continue his goal scoring record, then he'll be a good signing. Can't say I was too keen on him coming TBH, but he'll have my support now that he's one of us.
Just watched his interview, and he comes across as a very level headed lad..He basically said that he will do his talking on the pitch, and when people see that he is giving his all to the cause it will win the doubters over..
Short interview but he seems like he wants to do well.Asked about interest from Newcastle and why he chose Sunderland his answer speaking to the manager the size of the club only one place he wanted to come after that.
You've got a great player there gents and he will score goals for you and i wish him all the best at Sunderland,Most Swansea fans are sorry to see him leave but that's football
I think the fact his first game is away at Reading is a good thing. Hopefully, if he scores a couple, come his home debut it should keep the majority of the boo boys quiet.
Cheers mate...I must say I'm surprised he is leaving you with the chance of a cup winners medal on the horizon..
DANNY GRAHAM LATEST A cluster of Sunderland fans vented their anger towards Danny Graham when the striker visited the Stadium of Light earlier this week as a Swansea player. They can now rest at ease. "Of course, I totally understand that some fans might need convincing about my commitment to Sunderland because of my roots, but I've always given 100% no matter what team I play for and no matter who I play against," says the Gateshead-born forward. "It's up to me to show people I deserve to wear the Sunderland shirt, and I'm excited about playing for a club as big as this." "As soon as I heard about the interest from Sunderland I didn't even have to consider any of the other options that were on the table," the 27-year-old told the club's official website, safc.com. "I was born and brought up in the north east so I know first-hand the intense passion that people have for their football in this part of the world - it's special and there's nowhere else like it." I doubt MON would buy a player who he didnt think would give 100%, nor would he buy on if he thought they were stupid enough to do another Clark.
Yes mate i expected him to stay until the summer for that reason alone but his heart was back in the NE.. He will give 100% for you guys that's for sure..
