    Damn, I just read this then came straight here to see you'd beaten me to it!!

    Nice little quotes though, which is also nice. Glad we ARE looking at Gameiro and Gervinho! But, as predicted, Gervinho will cost us "alot of money". I want both Gameiro and Gervinho if I'm honest.. 451

    (Would be my personal choice, thus only needing to spend big on 2 first team players then purchase squad back up to pad out the team due to injuries)

    Is what I only just thought though haha. This is early for me so ya know :p

    Gameiro is only 5'7" so I wouldn't stick him up front on his own, and from what Carr's said there we're probably aiming for a big man, little man combination. Not sure how good Gervinho is in the air but the two of them paired up front could work?

    Was also thinking this. Gervinho's versatility though means we could mess about with him as both a winger and a striker? (not at same time obviously..)

    Also, I'd much rather go for players from France, Germany, Holland, etc etc than say Spain and England. Although buying from the prem will mean they're used to this league, they'd probably be over priced and we'd get ripped off. Same with Spain, not a good track record of buying from Spain (Xisco?)

    I was wary about the article at first, obviously, it's a sunday after all, but there's actual quotes! quotes!!
    Both Gameiro and Gervinho are being looked at by many teams though, it'll be tricky.

    Reading it again though, theres no ACTUAL quote from Carr himself saying we're looking at Gervinho and Gameiro, its the interviewer who mentions it....

    Bit fishy, but either way its promising, would be brilliant to bring in half a dozen new players like he says.

    Just re-read it, it's a slightly different page to where I read it, but the same quotes, and a longer version...it's a very lengthy interview. We're never gifted with this much on a sunday

    Graham Carr is a World Class scout delighted we are scouting France, Holland, Belgium and Germany quality young players in those leagues.

    The players that come in will have good pedigree. We will expect them to improve the squad.

    Quote from Carr. I hope we do improve the squad because our squad depth is not great. Need to ship most of the deadwood such as Smith, Perch, Raylor, Ameobi, Kuqi, Loverman and release one or two youngsters which might not make the grade.
