Oshea was excellent today. Marshalled the defence. Billy Jones did a great job on montero too until he had to go off! M'Vila and Lens were excellent. Lens blowing out of his arse at the end but was very good. Would've been a dream had Larsson come on and scored that free kick!! Much better in every way.
Had visions of that late winner against Blackburn at the SOL years ago in regards to Larsson, should have known it'd hit the wall! 3 assists in three games for lens, great stuff m'Vila will get better with every game under his belt IMO
No two ways about that, if PvA had not gone walkabout leaving such space for their goal who knows what the result would be. We may not have much style but we showed we will not be a pushover again.
See I thought it was partially Defoe to blame as he was caught up the pitch. He was covering well in that formation and had his best game since the mags last season but he was out of position for the break. That said... It was a very good breakaway goal
