Assuming that Bruce is given the bullet, do we think there's a place for this guy at the club under our new owners and any potential new manager? He's highly regarded as a coach and was obviously part of the England set up in the summer. Obviously if Bruce goes and Martinez comes in then it's pretty much a given. Not really heard that much about him prior to coming to NUFC and never really heard the bloke talk etc but it's clear he had a significant influence in our up turn in form after being brought in last year.

Just watching Keith Downie doing his update there on SSN, the number of times that he repeats the phrase "im fully expecting Steve Bruce to be relieved of his duties" is unreal.....its like he knows something and he's trying to send us a message <laugh><laugh>

Jones has always seemed very separate from Bruce in terms of his coaching, style etc, he definitely seems more modern and dynamic. Think there's definitely a place for him in the new set up, Clemence and Bruce's other lackey can naff off, but keep Jones.

Definitely.....i think the fact that he's been involved in the England setup will stand massively in his favour.....obviously worked with Martinez before as well. In all honesty I wouldn't be surprised to see Martinez here. I'd be happy with that if i'm honest, probably not the appointment we'd all want/expect and not a massive big name manager when considered alongside the likes of Simeone etc. He would be a massive massive step up from where we are now though that's for sure and with the right people alongside him and above him in terms of scouting, sporting director/dof type roll I would be hugely excited.....if he could bring KDB and Lukaku up here with him even better !!

Not our decision, and I’ll trust in those whose decision it is to make the right one.

Guess so. We have to: we can’t get what we all wanted then bitch and moan at their choices.

Obvs Martinez would be a big step up from Bruce and has considerably more experience than when he left English football. Only thing that worries me is that he hasn't managed to get that Belgium team over the line despite the quality in the squad.

Hopefully but it will be down to a new manager/board. I think if you put him in with like minded coaches etc he'll do well. I'd like to think there will be a role. He will certainly be staying if Potter or Martinez come in as they have existing relationships.

If Rangnick is made DOF and Favre manager I imagine most of the staff will be Germans.

    (I know Favre isnt German)
