Luke Edwards claims its Bruce's move (doesn't make sense, he doesn't know him). The coverage for an incoming coach is ludicrous, particularly one as average as this guy. That lad Ian who went to manage Motherwell had a much bigger reputation, but hasn't achieved anything. Jones lost 24 matches at Luton attracting scathing attention. I'm lost, me. If it was a caretaker with Martinez coming in, that works for me. But I can't see how it is, Martinez is deeply embedded in a very successful Belgium set-up (he's Tech Director as well as team manager). Howe has nothing to do with this. It's just another mystery, but the best way to view it is from the worst possible angle as that's most likely to be what happens; so he's just a coach for Bruce.
Its baffled me too like, I too thought he was just a coach and nothing more - but Bruces reaction to the question was ****ing bizarre. He can say we are in many talks and planning a few changes, but nothing serious. Or we are always looking to bring in the best and brightest, anything. He straight pleads the 5th for no reason.
I said yesterday I wonder whether Bruce is fronting. And the coaching is going to be done by this chap. Quite simply it cannot get any worse and all I care about now is another 12 points from Now till the end of the season. I couldn’t care less whether SB is here or not!
Apparently it's just as a coach and we got the inside track because - HE SUPPORTS NEWCASTLE - this makes the most sense to me because **** me who'd go to the club under any other circumstances? Honestly I really really love coaching and the club but I'm not sure I would at present. Maybe as a coach because you can fly under the radar a bit. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graeme_Jones Married a Smoggie - fml...
Bruce needs to go, there's no other option. It's ****ing imperative that another manager comes in as soon as humanly possible
Dare I say it he maybe will go if we lose against Leeds. But just watch us drag a result out and then we get to see SB smug face on sky sports.
