On Friday 20th May, a Golf day at Silvermere Golf Course in Surrey, and evening Dinner and Dance (and auction) raised just over ã8,000.00. Grace will shortly be in America for her operation, and will be there for a few weeks before she is allowed to fly home. Some of the auction prizes included a signed QPR Shirt, 2 tickets for Chelsea v QPR (VIP seats, dinner etc which went for ã650.00!, a signed CFC shirt which went for ã1000.00 and various Gold Day and Holiday prizes. For those of you that attended, I DJed at this event and played "We are the Champions" as my last song and wanted to apologise for not playing Elvis Costello's I don't want to go to Chelsea! I wanted to thank you for helping raise the ã40,000 which goes towards the operation and subsequent physio to help 7 year old Grace walk properly. The operation isn't available on the NHS, and I know that Claudette & Eddie (Grace's parents) would also like to say a massive Thank You for the support. I cannot find the link at the moment, but do know that this is mentioned in the Fulham Chronicle.
