    ***gots are great for starting a fire this time of year as the winter closes in.

    ****got or ***ot - branch or twig, or bundle of these.

    Any of you guys burn ***gots or what is your preferred fuel to get the cosy warm open fire blazing ?

    I camp quite often so I'm no stranger to going out in the woods just before dark with my kids looking for ***gots to pick up.

    I find if I dip a few in Sterno I can get them to light up the night quicker.

    Sterno is great for firestarting. Put some on some kindling and it will light even in foul weather. I always take a can camping with me.
