Hello you guys. It seems to me a little ironic that you are arriving at Southampton on the weekend in April when we remember the sailing of the Titanic. Please don't regard this as an advertisement it is just an opportunity to enrich your day on Saturday and learn a little history about the Titanic as told by members of Southampton Tourist Guides Association who are sponsored by the Mayor of Southampton. If you come up early enough this Saturday why not take in a Titanic Walk starting from Holyrood Church in the High Street starting at 10.30 in the morning and see all the sites around the city associated with the Titanic and the lives of the passengers and crew including some good pubs. It last about an hour and a half and ends close to St. Mary's. The city lost over 500 people who were the majority of the crew of the ship and many of them were Saints fans. The walks are also available on Friday 11th April and Sunday 13th April at the same time so if your staying over why not take in a walk on Sunday morning before you set off home. The walks cost £4 and is worth every penny. If you have family with you who aren't going to the game there are also walks at 12.30 and 2.30 all starting from Holyrood Church. Saints fans will also be on the morning walk so it is a good way to meet other fans and maybe share notes on the fortune of our clubs.
