At the risk of being accused of living in the past I just saw this on TWTD and thought it would be good to share some memories amongst our 'older' posters! A bygone age when all of our pocket money was spent on Panini football stickers and then the frustration of having to wait to get Eric Gates before completing the Ipswich Team! Happy days indeed! http://www.twtd.co.uk/news.php?storyid=19688
For some reason i always seemed to end up with about 10 St Mirren foil badges...in fact, i always had an abundance of Hearts and St Mirren badges...
I'm not sure what you mean by bygone age Warky --- I had the Fifa 10 one! Best of all was going to that toy shop in town (before the days of Toys R Us) and buying a Subbuteo set of blue shirted players, distinguishable as our own only by the label on the box
It's an old fashioned way of doing it though. The modern way is the one used by Vanessa Perroncel "had, had, had, oooh want" http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...Perroncel-scored-with-five-Chelsea-stars.html
"The star's heartbroken wife Toni, 28, was yesterday still coming to terms with his betrayal as she relaxed by the pool at a luxury hotel in Dubai." It's a hard life...
