I am holding a football programme fair at Ashton Gate on SUNDAY 29th September. With a start time of 10:00am in the hirerite building Free entry and free tea and coffee all day long As long as you bring your own CHINA cups
I'm sure you know about this NTTDS, but just in case................ http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/auction-1056897.aspx The day after your fair...a chance to get any memorabilia etc. valued.
Thanks for the info Have to be honest,I did not know about the bristol rovers auction,I'll try and get there though. Can you put on the Bristol Rovers forum about my programme fair and finally are you coming to my programme fair on Sunday?
I have a big box full of programmes from 1982 onwards, including the first game after the Ashton Gate 8 tore up their contracts plus about 16 hours of 2 minute highlights religiously taped from HTV highlights on Monday evenings - not sure I can make Sunday though, are the 1982 ones worth much...? p.s. I also have one that Robert Carlyle signed for me when he was a guest in hospitality one Saturday afternoon - had a brief chat with him and he is a massive footie fan and was local so wanted to come and watch a game (it is buried somewhere in a drawer, I think it was Swindon).
The Rovers event is a valuation session. Wessex Auctions Rooms, who are running it, can be found at: www.wessexauctionrooms.co.uk They have a Sporting Memorabilia auction coming up on Friday 22 November. If you want to know more about them send me a PM. Hope to pop along on Sunday......other stuff permitting!
