We sold springthorpe though, Gornell had a one year contract at Accrington and they offered him a new one. This is what we did with Leslie and Taylor in order that we would get compensation if they signed elsewhere.
Hereford got 100k for Pugh via a tribunal and he had only been there a year and probably had about the same record of performance.
I hope we don't pay over £100,000 for him as he's simply not worth that kind of money (yet). I think he's a good signing and I look forward to seeing our front line in action. It's full of potential and I think we'll be confident that we'll always have quality options on the bench when games aren't going our way.
i agree we don't want to break the bank on – Terry Gornell. he is very much an unknown quantity, but even so could be a good prospect for the future, we have Joe Jacobson, Rueben Hazell, Marvin Morgan and we really need at least another two possibly three new signings to complete
