Second red card they have overturned in two matches....and the Pearce won came back to bite us

Not even going to suggest Joey does this...or he will be banned till next Christmas

I agree that Barton is targeted by referees and its wrong. Unfortunately his reputation is still hanging around him.

However, I agree with this decision. At the time I thought it was late but not a red. It should have been a booking IMO.

 

Unbelievable. His tackle was reckless and nearly sliced Hoilett in two.

 

For a red to be overturned it has to be a ‘clear and obvious error by the ref’- not sure how that was a ‘clear and obvious error’

 

If you think this overturn to that where derry get sent off at old trafford (which was not overturned) it gets me speechless......:/

 

Common sense wasn't a red card ever in my book. it looked bad but from what i have seen he didn't catch him and hadn't left the ground

Barton well ... seriously who has he to blame for his reputation?

50/50 with Gorkss Hoilett nicked and jumped in the air ... his feet were off the ground

I thought Kaspers was hard done by at the time, and having seen the replay a few times, it's a yellow for me.

 

Not surprised at this. A dubious red imo from yet another very poor ref.

 

Reading clearly has someone on the inside at the FA.

 

It was never a red but one of those that will never be overturned, remember Cardiff had someone on the WFA? I suspect there may be a reading man somewhere in power. It would never have been overturned if it was our player.
