He could be speaking about anyone TBH !! though why anyone would ever want to listen to Gordon strachen talk about football ive no idea, as far as i can remember he murdered nearly every team he managed, he thinks he is witty and clever but actually he is just a total prick who has far too high opinon of himself. A classic strachen moment of which there have been many, is not rating Marvin emnes as good enough for boro.. his judgement on a player isnt the greatest is it Gordon Strachen = Twat

Yep on itv4 after the pool game, my point is a fellow pro and some say next manager of Scotland was actualy ripping into a certain persons philosphies. He made the point that Liverpool always had the passing game for the last 40 years, so in that respect nothings changed except back then they used to score...maybe the scales are starting to fall from worshipers eyes eh?
I would be fantastic as Celtic manager too SA9... My point is that strachen has had moderate success pretty much the same as brenden, in fact considering he has always had money to play with i would say he is inferior to brenden. Love him or hate him up to us all, i just Think he is a tool.
Peter Reid just on talksport pretty much echoed Strachans comments. You have to say, he does have a point. It's all well and good having a philosophy, but they're going to need to start winning games
Why do we care if they need to start winning games or not though? we all know Brenden rodgers is a good coach, we all knew pressure would be applied if they wernt in the top 4/5 after 10 games,we all know he doesnt have the playing personell which was proved when we played them off the park last season . The only people that seem suprised and are having a moan are the old muppetts like strachen and reid and the media people that thought wrongly that brenden was some kind of mastermind when he was with us. What we are seeing is a media back lash as they have been made out to be fools, im intrested in all former employee's and how they do and i find it amusing to see how he is handling life at anfield, its all comedy for me but i dont think just because washed up pundits say something we should beleive every word they say
Personally I don't case if they ever start winning games, I'm just enjoying the David Brent show. Found this earlier (for some reason on the Swans BBC page) some of the comments did make me laugh, especially the likening to comical Ali
SA9- exactly the same here mate, he has been damaged by that fly on the wall show IMO and its irreversable to his image and will probably never quite recover from it. We all stated seeing the change in Brenden as soon as it looked like we were safe, his appearences on TV started to get more frequent and his press conferences started turning into self publicity. We put that down to him building the team up and projecting an air of confidence that was perhaps needed for the dressing room to beleive they belonged in that division, as time went on the focus became more about him, i think we all saw it but were happy for him to keep pushing out the bullshit . it is intresting to watch the guy nowadays and we as fans of swansea know alot more about brenden rodgers than 99% of pundits, we did tell everyone this would happen but nobody beleived us least of all the media people, thats what makes the whole thing quite fun to watch from afar init
Yeah but I think that David Brent was magnificent , a terrific little manager with vision even though he didn't have the helicopter view of the company....going forward ...
