the fact that we did not beat Morton at home is not down to the referee. down to the lack of desire from the players to get the job done against wee teams at home i also have no issue with the awarding of the penalty. ambrose slipped then handled the ball in the box.
It looked quite a harsh penalty award on second viewing. But he did jump in and completely miss the tackle so I've no massive gripe over it. I think it was Harry commenting on another thread about supporters getting along to watch this match, well I think he got his answer right there why folk didn't bother. Clearly the preparation was **** and the players didn't want it enough. I commend you for going Harry, but if the players don't give a ****, I don't see why we should. And the players not going in properly prepared is about the only thing this can be down to. Expect the usual sound bites from Lennon about letting his players know they let themselves down.......it happens rather a lot under Lennon. I wonder if he'll accept any culpability himself for sending out a poorly motivated side. He whinged like **** over "undeserved" criticism after karagandy away, then he's going to have to accept it for this one. I never saw the game, so everything I say is couched by that but in spite of all the great successes he has had, **** like this will remain a question mark over his tenure.
