    Hello Man United fans.

How do you feel about the game this weekend? I heard SAF may rest some players due to your CL game. Is this true? If so then brilliant!

Two teams in poor recent form and with a lot of injuries, 1 0 Man Utd.

I've not heard that. I hope he doesn't, we need a morale-boost quick to get us back on track. Being knocked out of the cup, at home, by your main title rivals is not what he Doctor ordered.

fergie said he will field a strong team tomorrow but what he thinks is a strong team and what your typical fan think is strong may not be one and the same. I do expect us to field the strongest team avaialble to us but with wingers missing, we'll have to plug holes in midfield and it will be tough.

    Should be a good game.

My best Man United Vs Arsenal moment has to be when Van Nistelrooy missed that penalty and Keown became an ape in his face

We'll probably pack the midfield as usual with workmanlike players (Fletch, Carrick, Gibson), play Rooney wide left, Berba down the middle... but then who will be play wide right??? Hernandez??? Hmmm. Maybe I shouldn't type as I think.

I expect Wilshere to have a brilliant game and control the midfield all by himself :)

Dear lady even with our midfield at an all time low, I seriously doubt that will happen.

    Then again............

I expect Wilshere to commit a lot of fouls in a vain attempt to prove that Arsenal are not intimidated by United.

I wouldn't be surprised if both managers fielded weakened teams. I doubt the fa cup is high on the list of priorities for either club.

Mine has to be the demolition in the 2009 CL semi final. The fact it was at the Emirates and that Wenger had gobbed off so much beforehand made it all the sweeter!

I'd expect Arsenal to edge it tomorrow. Now they're out of the CL and are still behind us in the league with arguably a harder run in, the FA Cup has to be a bigger priority for them. Although they have shown they are nowhere near as good without Fabregas, so it could come down to who copes better with having their form player (Nani for Utd) out...

Might Valencia start on the right for us, or is it too soon?

You will be disappointed because I expect Wilshere to have a brilliant game and control the midfield all by himself :)

I wouldn't be surprised at an Arsenal victory. However tomorrow is a perfect time to pick ourselves up. Tight game though.

Probably too soon, just due to how long he's been out. I'll be glad when he does come back though. We need freshening up a bit.

Contrary to the comment earlier, Arsenal are actually in good form. Apart from a calamitous end to the brum game, then several contentious referring decisions, our last three games could have ended in victory.

I think Arsenal's desire to secure a trophy is burning right now and to go out of three comps in as many weeks cannot be contemplated. I think this factor will influence the game, the fans and possibly the ref.

Arsenal to win 2-1 with a dodgy pen at OT - Irony personified <ok>

Calamitous start and end to the Brum game, although to be fair in that game you could of easily been down to 10 men conceding a penalty right at the start so you definitely got the rub of the green that day, and while I do agree the offside goal at Sunderland was a bit unlucky, I think Messi's offside goal was a lot more contentious in the 1st leg of the Barce tie, not too mention the fact they had 2 clear penalties turned down, one of which would probably of been a red if it had been given, and yes the Van Persie red card was harsh, but Koscielny was also very lucky to stay on the pitch yet again in that game after giving away the penalty, perhaps Van Persie already being sent off was the reason the ref didn't give him a 2nd yellow.

As for the game, it really could go either way, I think its all down to the midfield battle, if United can put pressure on the midfield then they will probably end up going backwards a lot ending with a long ball up the pitch (usually looking for Walcott's pace but he's injured as well) because without Fabregas in that midfield there is a serious lack a true creativity, and without Song I think there will be holes to exploit if United's midfield are actually on their game, I'll say 2-1 United with Chicharito and Berbatov scoring, Van Persie scoring for Arsenal.
