I wonder how many like myself thought Hoof It was a handicap snip, especially listening to what all connections said about him before the race.

Well in at the weights, top jockey, raring to go, improving, easy winner under record breaking weight last time - 3-1. Thank you very much.

And along comes Hayley, along with a few others, to beat him comfortably.

All credit to Hayley Turner. Riding against the top jockeys in a Group 1 and, on a 20/1 shot, she has firmly established herself as equal to the male set.

OK there were some shrewdies on here who got the placed horses at 28, 12 and 20/1 and how Nass managed to flag up the winner I don't know. But although I say it myself, nothing comes close to my "can't lose" bet

15 runners. 6 selections, all with solid claims on form. The main bet of course being the "cert". Between them they managed:

5th, 6th, 8th, 9th 12th and 13th

That surely takes some beating.

I'll be back tomorrow with more booking busting bets. Do not miss.

Don't worry Ron, it happens to us all. I remember the Pretty Polly stakes this season, I had a wedge on Midday at Evens 5 days before the race, on the morning of the race she was 1/2, and I thought that's buying money, so I had another wedge on at 1/2. Her only real opponent was a fillie who had finished down the field in the Oaks LTO and Midday is one of the best filly's of the modern era, I was convinced I could not lose. what happens? She gets beat 6 lengths by Misty For Me, what a kick in the bollocks that was:biggrin:
