Bit of a nothing thread I know, but I'm in competition with Jager who is trying to get more posts than me on the Cardiff board.

Anyway, he is with Dundee United over in Ireland ready to play in thier pre-season games?
Will he get to kick a ball is the question, or will we meet the offer.
Malky has only just got backI know, but you wouldn't want one of your targets playing in a preseason for someone else would you, not really.
So perhaps we have lost interest due to the price.
Keep an eye on their games, if he doesn't play he's coming, if he does he's not...imo

I'll help SB but I feel you'll have to go some to beat jager, now there's a man on a mission or is it a dog sorry jack with a bone.
Anyway can't see a problem with him playing, it also appears that we have put a bid in for him but not at Dundee's valuation

Apparently we have made a bid that is below Dundee United's valuation, but is being seriously considered by the United board, the sticking point is the structure of the payment, the Arabs want a big lump up front, our bid is appearance related and involves stage payments.............could this be related to the fact that the lad might be eating porridge for breakfast?..............Dundee Utd are resigned to losing the player, but obviously want the best deal for them, we will get him if we really want him, however there are several clubs rumoured to be interested, if one of them is prepared to front up more money, well who knows..............The whisper is that as Craig Conway is a big mate of his. and the fact that they play well together.........well that makes Cardiff his destination of choice................however don't rule Rangers out of the equation just yet, and their is also a strong rumour that a Premiership club (Wolves) have thrown their hat into the ring.

    Interesting times indeed <ok>

    Tol....You're out of order mate.

All the Cardiff v Swansea stuff (which this thread isn't about btw) is one thing but resorting to juvenile, cheap shots about someones family is something entirely different. I'm sure you had a little giggle to yourself when you posted but it only highlights an inadequacy to sustain a reasonable level of discussion/banter

Play nice, or don't play at all <ok>

Got no idea what that means but it doesn't sound good , I know I'd be upset if someone said it about my wife , never mind football .

6 hours and 37 minutes between his post and yours, and THAT was the best you could come up with?

I bet your mother would be proud of the disrespectful, **** chucking ape she raised.

I am going to take some of the blame for ToL1D7 comment on here and want to apologise for pushing it a little far on the EMBARGO article.
I think this made him go a little futher than the normal hard banter we were having on that thread.
If that is the case and he is the kind of person I believe he is, than I am sure he will apologise for the remark above.
I myself, will try to rein myself in, and not be so harsh in my retorts in the future.

This is a great board and the freedom on here is a breath of fresh air, I for one, do not wish that to stop.
Banter aside, we are all just people who happen to support differents clubs with the same passion.

And so ToL1D7 , it's over to you to do the right thing as I know you will.

And then let the banter continue, but just between us and not our families <ok>

I know we all abuse each other but as we see from loads of posts here and from the old 606 all those same protagonists are amongst the first to respond with offers of help or support should one of us suffer a loss or illness, thats the way it should be and it's something that makes me proud to be Welsh, if Tol apologises I am quite willing to forget it happened and continue with the banter.

Sussex - on this excellent vBulletin forum platform, he could easily go back and edit it out - it's his own post and he could remove it.

    Shall we hold our breath?
