Just heard that a TV show has been green lit about Henry Hill and/or the Lucchese crime family in the 60s/70s. The yank TV execs obviously know how popular gangster movies and TV shows are but I'm not sure about this one. Nicholas Pileggi who wrote the book Wiseguy, which was turned into the movie Goodfellas, as well as the classic Casino has been signed up for this TV series so it could be promising.
If it is anywhere near The Sopranos they will be onto a winner. Why does your name never appear at the bottom of the screen btw Medro? Is it because you are on a phone or can you set it like that?
I doubt he would have any input in the show. I think it would be better if they forgot about him and his crew and took a look at the old 60s gangsters and the 5 families of New York
mine doesnt either teeheehee <donttellhimmedro> sopranos was class although the dreams did annoy me, a lot
This will be as guff as The Sopranos. Christ, it's all been done a million times before. More TV bollocks for the dumbed down masses.
****er. The therapy parts bored me. Never watched it then got my Da the box set for Xmas 2 years ago and watched it all during the World cup. Football and the Sopranos on a loop. Good summer although I had the skin colour of a Fritzel kid with the lack of sunlight.
I worked with a girl who borrowed all my series, all copied. When she gave them back half the ****ers worked. First 3 series were superb then it started to turn more into a soap. My mate had his wedding table names as Soprano episodes. We sat at the top table "Pine Barrens" of course.
I don't have any furniture. In fact I don't have a living room. I live on the edge and take each day as it comes unlike you pansy pussies with all your home comforts. I'll bet you even have a special green and white comfort blanket!!
It did a bit. Started repeating itself. Still superb though. I was going into work with my eyes hanging out having been up half the night.
