Itâs with genuine regret to let you know that Iâll no longer be part of ânot606â; Iâve been reading several boards especially Cardiff and Swansea and after what was quite a friendly season between us, now that weâve been promoted things have deteriorated to the extent that I fear that next season it could turn into a war zone and turn both of our fine clubs into a laughing stock for our English friends. I love my football and enjoy talking with others of the same ilk, but there are others on BOTH sides for whom the sole purpose seems to be point scoring with insults and totally unnecessary abuse which steps well over the mark. There are far more important issues in life than football chaps. As some of you know Iâve been ill for sometime and have undergone a lot of operations the last one of which I thought had gone well, it didnât and Iâm now in a wheelchair with a few more operations to look forward to so Iâll say goodbye to the friends Iâve made in both camps and wish you all well for the future and that goes for both clubs. Just leaves me to say Good luck in the coming season for both teams and long may we have 2 Welsh teams in the top tier. Kind Regards John
That's sad to hear mate, the infantile arguments just show how childish people can be at times. On your health I'm gutted that things haven't gone right for you, I obviously don't know what your issues are, and won't insult your intelligence with the usual platitudes. But can I just say that I hope things improve for you. My best wishes.

John, im extremely saddened to here this news. You have put all of it into perspective with that comment and i feel i should apologise to you if you feel i have overstepped the mark. I will be wishing you all the best health for the future,stay strong and keep positive, i hope you return to not606 and i wish your club gives you the boost that will help you recover by doing well on the pitch. I have many friends who are staunch cardiff fans and they know the things i say on here are not always from the heart and should be taken with artistic licence. Get well soon Sussex, hope you make a good recovery. If it helps I am staying away from that board so one less WUM for you to contend with. Please reconsider after a week or so as your board may get a lot quiter soon as I know I had overstepped the mark and as such toning it down to help improve relations. The health of not606 members is so much more important than the site itself, you and others have and always will have our support and thoughts.
Sorry to hear that Sussex, I hope you reconsider your decision. I never disclose any on details but I will say to everyone that you and I have exchanged them and they've always been a pleasure. Your messages regarding Ash and his health issues were very supportive and your words were very kind. I hope this doesn't embarrass you but I thought all of our posters need to know what a genuine top man you are
We've all had a wum from time to time - even you, sussex. But I echo your sentiments and really can't face the onslaught next season. The second you were promoted it started over here - prompting some to give it back in spades. Life's too bloody short and I've got better things to do. Good luck with the health issues - nothing is more important than that.

Agree with many of the comments posted here. There are more important things in life, and if we take our blinkers off for a minute, as Welshmen, we should be really proud that we have our 2 top Welsh teams in the Premier league....where hopefully we can both stay and shine!
