Itâs with genuine regret to let you know that Iâll no longer be part of ânot606â; Iâve been reading several boards especially Cardiff and Swansea and after what was quite a friendly season between us, now that weâve been promoted things have deteriorated to the extent that I fear that next season it could turn into a war zone and turn both of our fine clubs into a laughing stock for our English friends. I love my football and enjoy talking with others of the same ilk, but there are others on BOTH sides for whom the sole purpose seems to be point scoring with insults and totally unnecessary abuse which steps well over the mark. There are far more important issues in life than football chaps. As some of you know Iâve been ill for sometime and have undergone a lot of operations the last one of which I thought had gone well, it didnât and Iâm now in a wheelchair with a few more operations to look forward to so Iâll say goodbye to the friends Iâve made in both camps and wish you all well for the future and that goes for both clubs. Just leaves me to say Good luck in the coming season for both teams and long may we have 2 Welsh teams in the top tier. Kind Regards John
John, I hope that things go well for you health wise, ill-health is horrible and you don't deserve it. I also hope you will keep popping in to not606 and make the odd comment, we need posters like you to keep us foolhardy souls sane. Chin up mate. Dave
John So sorry to hear of your decision although I understand and appreciate your reasons. If you have a change of heart you know where to find us and you will be welcomed back. John, There's more to life than football as you say, and I wish you good health and a speedy recovery. Sadly there will be more good people, like yourself, leaving these boards due to a select few on both sides. All the best mate. Ash.
John, Your health is the most important thing although I will be sad to see you go I understand your reasons for leaving. Hopefully the more sensible posters will come to the fore and the idiot fringe will see sense and reasonable debate with freindly banter will be realised. Good luck and best wishes.
Hope it's not goodbye but au revoir sussex. Should be an interesting board next season especially as we will be trying to stay up in the PL. Hope the future operations are successful and you start to enjoy better health soon.

Susssex! Sad to see you've decided to quit the forum fella but I hope will still look in from time to time. There will be some good football articles to come when the season kicks off I gaurantee it. The current lull brings out the kind of stuff you dislike. Do what I do and filter the crap out, ignore it or respond in kind. It's just bollox most of the time and shouldn't be taken so literally. Sadly many of the decent threads on here are hijacked by Swansea posters with the result being a slanging match between both sides. Is it possible for the moderators to intervene in some way at an early stage so as to prevent this board becoming the farce it is fast becoming. Do Cardiff fans act similarly on the Swansea board. I have never visited it or ever intend to. I'm sorry to hear of Sussex Bluebird's health problems. The last thing you need if you are unwell is a bunch of children squabbling over which side is best. To me it's a no brainer as Swansea are a few years ahead of us so why do their fans appear to have such an inferiority complex? I hope never to find out.
Sussex, I read the subject of the OP with dread that we were losing another contributor but fully understood that the current warfare is frustrating. I didn't expect the main reason though and am very sad to hear you still have on-going problems. I wish you the very best of luck for the best possible recovery. I also hope that the guys on both boards can think things through a bit and (possibly with the help of both sets of mods) get things onto a reasonable level of banter with much more footballing commentary and well-thought out other comments. Sorry but you don't have a clue. If you visited our board you'll see some of the crap we've put up with from you lot, including some outrageous wumming about (you've guessed it) the way we paid our creditors many many years ago. It's only the beginning and sadly I envisage all out war this season. Most of you will be glad to hear I want no part of it as I just can't face the same old regurgitated crap again this season so won't be around.

Hey Sussex it is sad that you are leaving and also to hear that your health is getting you down. It's sad for us too that you are leaving the board because of the bitching ...... It's only an idea but why don't you just post on the prediction league or similar like others do (bluebird-nat is one)(I think), then we can stay in touch as that page is virtually wum free .....until the South Wales derby anyway If your mind is made up .....
