@talkSPORT: Liverpool make Rodriguez enquiry as Man City lurk - http://t.co/wrWVbej9oo #lfc #mcfc Surely not?!
We are mad to consider selling him, but these other teams are even more seriously bonkers. Have they all been hypnotised into believing that our players are the best in the universe. We were good last year, but these teams seem to think that all our players are CL quality. The world has gone mad. Surely there isn't such a premium on English players.
Excuse me, but must we continue to entertain these threads..? I don't see the point. There's a transfer rumour thread for this. I am sorely tempted to merge these individual threads into one titled Exodus, only then Beefy would object. I think the mods are going to have a wee chat.
I'm getting serious ****ed off with these bids. A day can't go by without a team wanting another saints player ffs.
How is it any different to a "Saint xxx" thread? When a move is looking more likely with growing media reports/speculation etc then a player coming in seems to get their own thread. Don't see why it shouldn't be the same for a player who is leaving
I object very strongly to that comparison Dan. You can take it back if you wish and nothing will be said. I'm just doing the writing. If it makes me unpopular, that's the way it is. You throwing insults at mods or other posters will get you off this forum, Dan. Believe it.
I think the saint threads should stop. They have become too popular of late. Open those threads once we sign the player.
I have sent a PM to the other mods [we communicate, you know] and we are discussing it. Before I became one of them it was pointed out to me very strongly that we keep a tight hold on unnecessary threads or thread duplication. That's what I'm trying to do. I don't expect to be compared to a Nazi regime for doing it. Thanks.
At the forum I moderate (http://premiershiphr2012.tk/index.php) we basically have one thread called 'Premiership' where we post everything, so we accumulate around 5000 pages per season. It would give TSS a heart attack People here open new threads daily, I don't see a problem with a few more such as these 'Goodbye X' threads. They cover a certain event and everyone who wants an information about that can access it more easily than to scour through the transfer thread.
